At Hope, we believe that Christian baptism is the immersion of water of a believer, according to Acts 2:41. It is an outward demonstration that you are a follower of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We do not get baptized to be saved; rather, it is another opportunity to turn to God, thus showing God and the world that we have made this great commitment.

Biblical Guidance is provided to our members by the Ministerial Staff, and in some cases Lead Servants. Our staff is capable of handling issues and providing the appropriate Biblical guidance. In most cases, matters are resolved at this level and usually a member must have sought assistance from the appropriate ministry before a meeting with our Senior Pastor will be granted. In the event the assigned leader is unable to handle the assignment, s/he will seek guidance from our Senior Pastor.
Some issues may require professional assistance. These cases are referred to our counseling center, the Zoe Center for Growth.
Members of Hope and their immediate family members are extended a proper church homegoing or memorial service . This service can be performed at Hope by the Senior Pastor or the minister he assigns. The family is asked to please let us know as soon as possible when this need arises so that we can effectively minister to your need. A minister will guide you through the process so that the proper arrangements can be made quickly and with dignity. Call us at 718-257-5494 x307.
Pre-marital class is available for members who have the desire to marry. At least one of the persons must be a member of Hope and both must complete the class before a ceremony is scheduled. For more information, contact our Couples Ministry via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
